Self-test error messages
If an error occurs during the power-up self-test, an error
message is displayed on the status line at the bottom of the
screen. If no error is detected, the message "Terminal
Ready" pops up on the screen.
If
an error message occurs, first try to turn the terminal off
and on again.
If this does not help, contact the person
who is responsible for installing the terminal, the system
supervisor, or a qualified service technician.
In many
cases, the terminal can be healed by using the system test,
but leave this to the experts.
