Playable region code (For DVD video)
If the region code of the DVD player and the DVD disc are not the same, the disc cannot be played.
This product can only play disc with the region code or 4 or ALL. When you try to play the disc of region
code other than 4 or ALL, it will display the message “ WRONG REGION ” on the screen.
This product does not support Code Free. The region code complies with the International Standard
Agreement of DVD Forum. When you modify the region code, you will receive legal prosecution.
Playable disc
DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) can store 135 minutes of video, audio in maximum of 8
languages and subtitles in maximum of 32 languages. With the video compression of
MPEG-2 and Dolby surround sound function, you can enjoy live video and clear sound of
cinema right at your home.
Both the DVD player and the disc have the region code that can be played by each
country, and this code must be the same in order to be used. Therefore for the DVD
player purchased in the region other than the playing region can only play the disc of the
applicable region code. FOR AUSTRALIAN the region is 4. Therefore please use only the
disc with region code of 4 as shown on the left or the region code of ALL.
