SECTION 1 INTRODUCTION
The UT880 is a Smart Desk Set (SDS) Phone with UT880 Multiline Client
that supports the NEC Phone Features and functionality. Power over
Ethernet (PoE) is used to power the phone, reducing the need for power
cables. In addition, headsets for those users who frequently make calls
can also be supported. Additionally, functionality such as Web Browser
and other “Smart” phone applications are available making the UT880 an
extremely versatile device.
SECTION 2 DEVICE LAYOUT
Figure 1-1 shows the UT880 unit and the Multiline Telephone Dialer
display screen.
