The error will be further classified into E002 (A) or E002 (B)
•
E002 (A): A brownout has occurred while the unit was not welding.
Check the +15VDC power supply on the control board with a meter
then trace it back through the system components per below. Likely
items to check in order from most likely to least:
• FACS Input board
• Switch board(s)
• Wiring to the FACS Input board.
•
E002 (B): The brownout occurred while the unit was welding. A
scope would be needed to see the voltage dip as it is too fast for a meter.
Likely items to check in order from most likely to least:
• Switch board(s)
• FACS Input board
• Wiring to the FACS Input board.
