Installing LIB-4xxx Hardware
The LIB-4xxx can be installed via rack mount or via desktop / table top. Desktop mount is standard.
Rack Mount Installation
The LIB-4xxx enclosure has three holes on each side for rack mounting. Rack mount uses SKU #
LIB-4400-19RM - 19” Rack Mount Kit for LIB-4xxx mounted in 1RU of a 19” rack.

Desktop / Tabletop Installation
The LIB-4xxx is shipped with four rubber feet for optional installation on a table or other flat, stable
surface in a well-ventilated area.
Remove the rubber feet from the card.
On the bottom of the LIB-4xxx, place one foot in each corner of the device.

Set the NID in place and connect the power adapter (see “Power Supply Installation” on page 26).
SFP / XFP / GBIC Optical Transceivers
