When you access the web interface, by default, the DHCP client is enabled and the static IP
address is 192.168.0.1.
If a DHCP server is available on the network, the following steps are recommended:
Setup the system name using the "system name" command, e.g. "system name my-switch".
Delete the static IP address using the "ip setup 0.0.0.0" command.
Renew the DHCP address using the "ip dhcp enable" command.
The DHCP client will include the system name as host name in the DHCP request.
Web access to the switch can then be done using the system name, e.g. "my-switch".
If a DHCP server is not available, the following steps are recommended:
Disable DHCP using the "ip dhcp disable" command.
Setup the IP configuration using the "ip setup" command.
The default web login is “admin” and password is an empty string “”.
Log Out of the LIB-4xxx Web Interface
1. Click the logout ( ) button located in the top right corner of each web interface screen.
The message “Do you want to logout the web site?” displays.
2. Click the OK button to clear the webpage message, or click the Cancel button to
continue.
3. If you click the OK button, the Connect to ... dialog displays again to let you log back in if you
want.
The web interface also displays the message “Authorization required to access this URL.
You can either log back in or click the Cancel button to clear the Connect to ... dialog.
