Software Install Process
The next sections cover the LIB-4xxx software installation process, which includes:
Configure and login in to the LIB-4xxx via Telnet (page 26), PuTTY (page 27) or HT (page
29).
Log in to the LIB-4xxx via the Web Interface (page 31).
Register at My TN Access (page 32).
Take our TN Customer Satisfaction Survey (page 32).
Operating System Support
The LIB-4xxx has no OS requirements.
Web Browser Support
The LIB-4xxx is compatible with any browser supporting Java (e.g., Firefox (Mozilla Firefox), Internet
Explorer, Google Chrome).
Telnet Client Support
The LIB-4xxx CLI is compatible with any Telnet program supporting SSH.
Terminal Emulation Package Support
The LIB-4xxx CLI is compatible with any terminal program supporting ANSI/VT100 emulation.
Login In to the LIB-4xxx via Telnet
Use the Windows Start > Command Prompt menu path to open a command prompt.
At the prompt type telnet 192.168.0.1 and press the Enter key.
Enter the LIB-4xxx Username (the default is admin in lowercase letters) and press the Enter key.
Enter the LIB-4xxx password (no default - just press the Enter key.
At the command prompt, enter a command and press the Enter key. For example, type Help (or ?)
and press Enter to display the LIB-4xxx Help screen:
