Pressing the SHUTTER RELEASE button

Lightly pressing the
SHUTTER RELEASE
button and holding it halfway down activates the camera's exposure meter
and autofocus.
z
The focus is locked as long as the
SHUTTER RELEASE
button is kept lightly pressed. Pressing it fully all the way
down releases the shutter.
NOTE :
Pressing the SHUTTER RELEASE
button
Pressing the
SHUTTER RELEASE
button abruptly can result in picture blur. Make sure to press the
SHUTTER RELEASE
button slowly.

Use the

dial to select the Shooting mode , or Playback mode .

Shooting mode
There are two modes for taking pictures:

In " " (Auto mode), the camera controls the exposure and other settings for simple, easy operation.

In " " (Manual mode), camera settings such as exposure, white balance, image adjustment and sharpening
are under full manual control.
