OPERATIONS
ON
COMPONENTS
1.
ON/OFF
switching
of
power
NOTE
Before
turning
the
power
on,
make
sure
that
the
input
voltage
to
the
power
supply
unit
corresponds
to
the
available
line
voltage.
The
microscope
uses
a
12V,
100W
halogen
lamp
bulb
as
the
standard
light
source.
Do
not
use
any
other
lamps.
(See
page
53.)
If
a
lamp
bulb
of
over-rated
wattage
is
used,
the
light
intensity
adjusting
circuit
may
be
damaged.
-CAUTION
-
Do
not
touch
the
lamphouse
or
place
any
heat-sensitive
object
near
it,
since
the
lamphouse
becomes
extremely
hot
during
use.
Also
use
great
care
not
to
bring
volatile
substances
(such
as
gasoline,
thinner,
alcohol,
etc.)
close
to
the
lamphouse.
Such
exposure
may
result
in
inflammation
or
other
dangers.

Connect
the
power
supply
unit
and
lamphouse
with
the
lamphouse
cable.
To
turn
the
power
on,
turn
the
power
switch
on
the
power
supply
unit
front
panel
to
the
"1"
position.
The
lamp
goes
on.
(At
this
time,
the
pilot
lamp
on
the
power
supply
unit
front
panel
also
goes
on.)
To
turn
the
power
off,
turn
the
power
switch
to
the
”0"
position.
The
lamp
goes
out.
(The
pilot
lamp
on
the
power
supply
unit
also
goes
out.)
