Remove the 1/4 lambda plate and insert the upper part of the IR polarizer (the band pass filter
and the 1/4 lambda plate).

Contrast Adjustment

Insert the DIC slider into the single objective holder or into the sliding nosepiece to locate the
DIC prism of the condenser into the optical path.

Rotate the knurled ring on the right side of the polarizer turret upper side to change the
polarizer orientation and adjust the contrast.
