CTRLU
Introduction
The Control block contains a microcomputer unit (MCU) and five memory
circuits (2xFLASH, 2xSRAM and EEPROM), a 20–bit address bus and a
16–bit data bus. Physically the CTRLU resides entirely on MCM1.
Main Features of the CTRLU Block
MCU functions:
– system control
– communication control
– user interface functions
– GSM data encoding and decoding
– authentication
– RF monitoring
– power up/down control
– accessory monitoring
– battery monitoring and charging control
– self–test and production testing
– flash loading
