6.2.3 Configuring PBX parameters
1. In the OMC, select Hardware and Limits > LAN / IP Configuration
2. Open the LAN / IP Configuration application and complete PBX network parameters with the
customer information
3. Manually configure PBX telephony parameters, or use any of the configuration wizards:
• Modification Typical: This wizard allows to configure the main telephony parameters grouped in
various sections such as: Subscribers, Groups, System, Common Speed Dialing and
External accesses.
• Installation Typical: This wizard allows:
• Configuring off-line the main telephony parameters for business or hotel installation, and
register the configuration in a *.cpr file:
1. If the OMC application is connected to the PBX, select Comm > Disconnect
2. Select OMC > Tools
3. Open the Wizard for Data Collection and follow instructions on screen
This wizard is available in Expert or Typical Installation mode
When configuration is complete, a *.cpr file is created and stored on the management
computer
• Selecting online the *.cpr file with the main telephony parameter configured:
1. From the OMC application, connect to the PBX (see: Accessing PBX configuration via the
OMC on page 85)
2. Select Installation Typical and open the Wizard for Data Loading application
3. Select the *.cpr file and follow the instructions on screen to complete and validate the PBX
configuration
The main parameters configured in the wizard are:
• Default dialing plans
• Installation numbers
• Operation mode
• Channels
• Metering
• Date and time
• User list
• User miscellaneous
• Common speed dialing
• Attendant, hunt, broadcast, and pick-up groups
• Screening
6.2.4 Configuring customer/supplier information
This operation is required when the license keys have been registered on eBuy with the couple fleet
reference/installation reference. The couple fleet reference/installation reference must be declared in
customer/supplier information. Configure the fleet reference also allows partners to display and identify
their PBX in the Fleet Dashboard.
1. In the OMC, select Customer/Supplier Info
The Customer/Supplier Info window opens
2. Click the Supplier Information tab and review/modify the customer references
Note:
In BTCO mode, do not complete the Installation reference field.
