Why are subscribers unable to route to a domain name on Nomadix AG 5500?
    • D
      Derek HallAug 1, 2025
If subscribers using your Nomadix Gateway can route to an IP address but not to a domain name, the DNS server settings might be misconfigured. Ensure you check the DNS settings including the host, domain, and the primary, secondary, and tertiary DNS. Alternatively, the DNS server itself may be down. You should check with your service provider to see if the DNS server is operational.

What to do if the browser is not redirected to the home page on Nomadix AG 5500 Gateway?
    • R
      Robert RomeroAug 15, 2025
If a subscriber's browser isn't redirected to the specified home page after their initial login on the Nomadix Gateway, first ensure that home page redirection is enabled in the AG 5500. If it is enabled, verify that the home page URL was entered correctly into the AG 5500. Also, check that the server hosting the home page is operational and accessible through your service provider. Finally, ensure that the DNS is correctly configured in the AG 5500 by checking the DNS settings (host, domain, and the primary, secondary, and tertiary DNS).

How to enable communication with Authorize.Net on Nomadix Gateway?
    • G
      Gavin JohnsonAug 23, 2025
If you cannot communicate with Authorize.Net when using the internal AAA login Web server on your Nomadix Gateway, it could be because the internal AAA login server communicates with Authorize.Net on a specified port which is not enabled within the company’s firewall. To resolve this, enable communications with Authorize.Net on port 1111.

What to do if DHCP subscriber is not assigned an IP address on Nomadix Gateway?
    • M
      Michael CampbellNov 8, 2025
If a subscriber enabled with DHCP logs onto the Nomadix Gateway system but isn't assigned an IP address, there could be a few reasons. First, the DHCP relay might be enabled with an incorrect IP address for the external DHCP server; in this case, check the IP address for the external DHCP server and test the communication with the 'ping' command. Second, the DHCP relay might be enabled with the correct IP address, but the DHCP server is misconfigured; therefore, check the external DHCP server settings, ensuring it's configured to a routable class of IP addresses with enough IP addresses specified, and that the subnet is correct (try using 255.255.255.0 if you suspect subnet issues). Finally, the DHCP relay might be disabled, and the DHCP service settings in the AG 5500 are misconfigured; i...
