Lubrication and Maintenance - Grader Components
Circle Turn Gearbox Oil - Change
1. Remove drain plug from the bottom of gearbox, and
drain fluid in a suitable container. Dispose of waste
fluid according to federal, state, and local laws.
2. Clean area around drain plug and replace plug.
3. Remove breather (1) and add oil until level with check
plug hole (2).
Front Wheel Bearing Grease - Change
1. Loosen bolts (1) and remove front wheel bearing
cover
(2).
2. Remove grease and clean bearing housing.
3. Repack bearing housing with grease (approximately
0.9 L (0.95 qt) per side)
4. Replace cover and torque cover bolts to 41–54 N•m
(30–40 lb-ft).
