The gear unit can be fitted to solid shafts with and without a shoulder using the fixing element
(Option B). Tighten the fastening element bolt with correct torque (see chapter 7.3 "Screw tightening
torques").
When fastening without a contact shoulder, a circlip is used in the hollow shaft for axial fastening.

A gear unit can be removed from a shaft with a shoulder e.g. using the following device.
