Overview
NOTE: The Smart Gun Applicator Assembly is referred to as a smart gun throughout the
remainder of this manual.
See Figure 2-1 and refer to Table 2-1.
The smart gun is designed to dispense one or two materials in multiple directions and
into size restrictive areas. The smart gun is controlled by and mounted to a specic robot
determined by the customer. The dispense rate and dispense pressure during operation
is controlled by controller operator settings. The smart gun is completely pneumatically
controlled. The operator must be able to provide the minimum air requirements for the
smart gun to work properly in an application.
The meter consists of the following basic components: smart gun, swivel assembly,
torque bracket, nozzle assembly, and the vision system mount bracket. To construct a
complete system, other components are added to the basic applicator.
