8.11Emergency operation
WARNING
Risk of being crushed or hit by the moving door in emergency
operation
Persons can be struck when the door is closed or collide with the door.
n For emergency operation the door needs to be checked and found to
be in perfect mechanical condition.
n During emergency operation, a clear view to the door from the place
of operation must be ensured.
n Ensure that no other persons are in the danger zone of the door.
The emergency operation permits the operation of the door with defective or tripped
safety devices. The emergency operation is activated by pressing and holding the
button for 5seconds.
8.11.1Emergency operation with emergency crank handle
This function applies to the DCC-80 NHK and NHK-WE variants.

Insert the crank handle.

Open and close the door by turning the crank handle. If necessary,
slowly turn the crank and try to insert it further with light pressure until it engages
in the drive.
8.11.2Emergency operation with quick chain
This function applies to the DCC-80 SK and SK-WE variants.

Pull the red handle on the emergency release to switch off the drive elec-
tronically. Open or close the door by using the chain.

To operate the door with the drive again, pull the green handle.
8.11.3Emergency operation with mechanical emergency release
This function applies to the DCC-80 ER variant.

Pull the red handle of the emergency release to mechanically disconnect
the drive from the door. Open or close the door by hand.
