What to do if the NSK Dental equipment motor does not rotate?

  If the NSK Dental equipment motor isn't rotating, there might be a few reasons: * Check if the foot control cord is properly connected to the control unit. If not, plug it in correctly. * Ensure the safety lock on the motor with hand control or wire pin driver isn't set to OFF, and that the foot control isn't set to OFF. Release the safety lock or cancel the foot control setting if needed. * If the load is too high due to the attachment or cutting accessory, the control unit's safety mechanism might have stopped the motor. Remove the cause of the excessive load, then depress the foot control pedal or re-push the hand switch/trigger.

  First, check if the Twist Collet of the Attachment/Handpiece is OPEN. If so, fasten it after inserting the Cutting Accessories by turning it in the direction of ‘ ’. Also, verify the Safety Lock is not “ON”; if it is, release the Safety Lock.

  If there is no rotation after attaching the Cutting Accessories, check if the Twist Collet on the Attachment/Handpiece is OPEN. If it is, fasten the Twist Collet after inserting the Cutting Accessories by turning it in the direction of ‘ ’.

  First, check the Irrigation Tube for kinks, plugging, or cracks; fix any kinks, and replace the tube if it's plugged or cracked. Next, ensure the irrigation isn't set to 0% or OFF in the Control Unit's Main Panel, and adjust accordingly. Lastly, verify the Irrigation Tube is correctly mounted in the Irrigation Pump; if it's in the wrong direction, remove and reinstall it.

  Overheating during rotation can be caused by continuous use over a long period. If this occurs, stop operating the Attachment/Handpiece and Motor immediately. Wait until the Attachment/Handpiece and Motor cool down before continuing to operate.

Why does the motor of my NSK Primado2 not rotate?

  There are several reasons why the motor might not be rotating. First, check if the Foot Control Cord is properly plugged into the Control Unit. Also, verify that the Safety Lock of the Motor with Hand Control/Wire Pin Driver is not set to OFF, and that the Foot Control is not set to OFF. Finally, if the load is too high due to the Attachment/Handpiece or Cutting Accessories, the safety mechanism may have stopped the motor. Remove the cause of the excessive load, and then try depressing the Pedal of the Foot Control or re-pushing the Hand Switch/Trigger.
