Replacing 12 Volt Lead Acid Battery
Tools Required
8 mm deep socket
Ratchet and extension
1. Remove front end trim cover and right
upper cover only. See cover removal
instructions.
2. Remove AC adapter from outlet if
plugged in.
3. Remove two locknuts.
4. Remove the battery cables.
5. Remove battery. Follow steps in reverse
order to install new battery.
Do not dispose of batteries in a fi re.
The batteries may explode.
Do not open or mutilate batteries.
They contain an electrolyte which
is toxic and harmful to the skin and
eyes.
To avoid personal injury due to
energy hazard, remove wrist watches
and jewelry such as rings when
replacing the batteries.
Replace batteries with the same
number and type of batteries as
originally installed in the equipment.
Recycle batteries in accordance with
local recycling procedures.
