Symbol Name Description
a Auto document feeder (ADF) Automatically feed document on the document tray
to the scanner unit.
b Document tray Use this to read several sheets of document
automatically.
c Scanner unit Scans document automatically.
d Operator panel
Basic Operations on the Operator Panel
This is the panel to operate the printer.
You can find touch panel and operation buttons on
the panel.
e USB port Port to insert a USB memory.
f MP tray (Multipurpose tray) Envelopes and various sizes and thicknesses of
paper can be printed.
g Open button Press this button to unlock when opening the output
tray.
h Paper supporter Draw this supporter when setting long size paper in
the MP tray.
i Envelope lever Use this when printing on envelopes. For
instructions, refer to "Printing on Envelopes
(Advanced Manual)".
