6-2 How to set up [Target URL] when there is no DNS server
If there is no DNS server in the network, a computer can not be specified by the computer name.
In this case, the IP address of a computer is used for the setup.
Check the IP address of a computer.
1) Select [Start]- [ Control Panel]- [Network].
2) Double-click [Local Area Connection] to click
[Properties].

elect [Internet Protocols (TCP/IP)] and click
[Properties].
4) Enter the v
alue of the IP address in “C-1”.
Set up the profile in MC860.
Set up with the procedure of “3-3 Setup for
Scan To CIFS in MC860” (page 22).

If the IP address is not displayed on the
window, proceed to 6).
