Connecting via USB
Connect this machine and a PC with a USB cable to print.

Prepare a USB 2.0 cable.
Not compatible with USB 3.0.
The connector shape on the machine side is of type B.
To connect in the USB 2.0 hi-speed mode, use a USB cable compliant with USB 2.0 hi-speed specifications.

Power off this machine.

Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB interface connector of this machine.
Do not insert the USB cable into the network interface connector. Doing so may cause a malfunction.

Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB interface connector of the PC.
Proceed to "Installing software on a PC(P.59)".
