3.12 Board auto test mode
This function is activated by pressing the H button on the display. Once
the function is enabled, at first a single beep is emitted, then on the
display all the LEDs turn on for 1 second. Then the following steps are
carried out:
– LED DL4 flashes if all the temperature sensor resistance values are
within the range of 9.3 KΩ – 10.7 KΩ, otherwise LED DL4 stays on
steady.
– LED DL3 flashes if the input from the pump switch is closed,
otherwise LED DL3 stays on steady.
– LED DL2 flashes if the input from the maximum condensate level
switch is closed, otherwise LED DL2 stays steady ON.
By pressing the H button on the display again, all the LEDs will turn on
and the board will carry out the following sequence:
– activate air recirculation outlet for 1 second.
– activate condensate disposal outlet actuator for 1 second.
– activate condensate disposal pump outlet for 1 second.
– activate 4-way valve for 1 second.
– activate compressor outlet for 1 second.
At this point, the board Auto Test function is terminated and this is
indicated by another single beep. The working mode stored in memory
before the last network interruption is then resumed.
3.13 Condensate draining and disposal
The condensate disposal pump is turned on only if the compressor is on
and the float switch (pump speed) is off.
A second microswitch controlled by another float (high water level) starts
and stops the machine if it is open for more than 60 seconds.
If the contacts of the pump microswitch are closed for more than one
minute, the shutoff valve is powered on (115V) and the water is drained
for a maximum period of 3 minutes or until the switches are not open.
The shutoff valve is programmed to be normally closed when the
machine is off.
In heating mode (pump OFF), the electronic board provides voltage to the
shutoff valve to allow the water produced by the external coil to drain.
