Turn the power switch off and then back on
again. If this message still remains, follow
the self-diagnostic error code instruction.

Out of Memory
On-line printer jobs
are crowded.
The data transferred
to the machine was
too complex to print
on a page.
Wait a while, and check again.
Memory error. Turn the power switch off and then back on
again. If this message still remains, replace
the main PWB (See P.1-5-29).
[PRINTER ERROR]
Engine Panic
The engine/high volt-
age PWB can not
establish communica-
tion between engine/
high voltage PWB and
the main PWB over 10
s.
Defective PWB. Replace the main PWB or engine/high volt-
age PWB. (See page P.1-5-29 or P.1-5-14)
[SCANNER ERROR]
Lamp Error
Exposure lamp error
for scanner.
Poor contact in expo-
sure lamp connector
terminals.
Reinsert the connector (See P.1-5-33).
Defective exposure
lamp.
Replace the exposure lamp (See P.1-5-33).

Replace the optical module unit
(See P.1-5-24).
Defective FFC
between main PWB
and CCD PWB, or
improper connector
insertion.
Reinsert the FFC. Also check for continuity
within the FFC. If none, remedy or replace
the FFC (See P.1-5-39).

Replace the optical module unit
(See P.1-5-24).
Defective main PWB. Turn the power switch off and then back on
again. If this message still remains, replace
