Your system is equipped with an automatic backup facility .
This means that in case of a power cut (due to a power
failure or due to an unintended cable disconnection when
operating on AC power, the system will automatically be
powered
by the batteries. No data will be lost .
IMPORTANT: In such a case the hard disk will only continue
working (on battery power) if the hard disk switch (38,8)
is in the ON position (=1).
When you work on AC power in environments where the AC
power is not very reliable, we recommend as a matter of
routine you leave the hard disk switch in position ON (=1)
if the hard disk is needed while you are working.
