diskettes. When connected, you can easily use programs and
data available on 5.25" diskettes, either directly, or
after transferring them to 3.5" diskettes.
If you have a system with hard disk and you want to connect
an external disk drive, add the following command line to
your config.sys file:
device=driver.sys/d:2/t:40/f:O
After this configuration, you will work on the external
floppy drive as drive 0:. Your local service center will
be able to give you further details about the optional disk
drive.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
(If for any reason you wish to take the battery out after a
charging cycle, please allow some time for the battery to
cool down before touching it.)
To replace the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Switch the system off.
2. Open the rear panel cover (48,A) and slightly bend it
so that the plastic pins at the ends come out from
their holes; you can then remove it and put it aside.
3. Loosen the two screws (49,B)(49,A) and put them aside.
4. Remove the battery compartment cover (SO,A) .
5. Pullout the battery connector. Press the small catch
(51,A) on top of the connector whilst pulling at the
same time (51,B).
6. Take out the battery (52,A) .
