Chapter 7
Erasing pictures
Recorded pictures can be erased. You may use the single-frame erase
function or the all-frame erase function.

Select a picture you wish to erase by
using the arrow pad.
If the picture is protected, cancel the
protection first (P. 148).

Press .
The ERASE screen is displayed.

Press Ñ to select YES.
To cancel erasing, select NO and press
, or press again.

Press to erase the picture.
This function only erases the picture displayed on the monitor. Erasing further
pictures must be done one-by-one if using this function.

It is not possible to erase protected pictures or pictures stored on a card
that has a write-protect seal (SmartMedia).
Once erased, pictures cannot be restored.
