If the aperture value is displayed in green
The aperture setting will provide optimum
exposure.
If the aperture value is displayed in red
The aperture you have set is unsuitable
for the conditions.

To decrease the aperture value
(F-number), press ñ.
Green: The aperture setting will
provide optimum exposure.
Red: The aperture setting is
unsuitable for optimum exposure.

Wide (W) f2.8* – f8
Tele (T) f3.5* – f8

*Open-aperture (the widest aperture setting)
depends on the zoom position.
When the flash is set to the auto-flash mode, the shutter speed is fixed at
1/30 sec. in the maximum wide-angle, or 1/320 sec. in the maximum
telephoto, and can not go slower.
