1 Loading the card.
Insert the SD/SDHC card
(referred to as “card” in these
instructions) until it locks in
place.

Turn off the camera before
loading or removing the card.

Removing the card
Press the inserted card lightly and it
will be ejected. Pull out the card.
# Caution
Do not remove the battery or
card while the card write indicator
(P. 22) is displayed.

Close the cover until you
hear a click.

Close the battery/card compartment cover when using the camera.
Do not remove the battery or card while the card write indicator (P. 22) is displayed.
Failure to observe this precaution could result in the loss not only of the images
being recorded but also of existing images.
