Message Cause and recommended action
<NO RECORDING MEDIA.> The SDHC card or the USB flash drive is not loaded.
→ Load the SDHC card or the USB flash drive you use and try
again. Or turn OFF the instrument and ON again.
<RECORDING MEDIA FULL.> The SDHC card or the USB flash drive is full.
→ Delete the unnecessary data to free up space, or replace
with a new SDHC card or a new USB flash drive.
<THIS IMAGE CANNOT BE RETRIEVED.> The image is not recorded with this instrument.
→ Only images recorded with this instrument can be
displayed.
<RECORDING MEDIA ERROR.
PLEASE FORMAT THE RECORDING MEDIA.>
The format of the SDHC card or the USB flash drive cannot
be recognized.
→ Format the SDHC card or the SB flash drive with this
instrument.
<THE SPECIFIED FILE NAME ALREADY
EXISTS.
PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER NAME.>
The file name exists.
→ Specify the file name other than the existing file name.
<THE SPECIFIED FOLDER NAME ALREADY
EXISTS.
PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER NAME.>
The folder name exists.
→ Specify the folder name other than the existing folder name.
<RECORDING MEDIA IS LOCKED. PLEASE
UNLOCK.>
The SDHC card is locked.
→ Unlock the SDHC card you will use and insert the SDHC
card in this instrument.
<INCOMPARABLE IMAGE RESOLUTION.> The resolution of the live image is different from that of the
played back image.
→ Specify the file with the same resolution as the live image.
<The image cannot be displayed in 3D view.
Acquire the stereo image again.>
The image is not appropriate for 3D view.
→ Acquire the stereo image again.
<OVER CURRENT (USB).
PLEASE TURN OFF THE POWER.>
The recommended USB flash drive is not used.
→ Stop inspection, and turn OFF the instrument and ON again.
Use the recommended USB flash drive.
A USB device other than the USB flash drive is connected.
→ Disconnect all USB devices other than the USB flash drive.
88 Troubleshooting
Inspect the instrument as described in “3 Pre-operation preparation and inspection” (page22).
If there are any obvious malfunctions, do not use the instrument and contact Olympus for
repairs. If a slightest irregularity is suspected, do not use the instrument and perform the actions
described in “8-1 Troubleshooting guide”. If the problem cannot be resolved by taking the
remedial action described, stop using the instrument and contact Olympus for repair.
