Adjusting the tilt tension of the microscope body
1.
Rotate the tilt tension adjustment lever to adjust the tilt tension so that it will
tilt when a slight force is applied, and is easy to handle (see Figure 4.8).

2. When the tilt tension has been adjusted, rotate the tilt tension adjustment
lever as you pull it out and point it away from other operations (see Figure
4.9).
