When decompressing, allow air to escape from the
endoscope until 0 kPa is indicated on the display.
The leakage test pressure must not exceeded 27 kPa/the
green scale area. If the pressure is increased into the red
scale area, press the pressure release lever to let the air
escape. Otherwise, equipment damage may result.
1. Fill a basin with clean water. Use a basin which is at least 25 (W) × 10 (H) ×
50 (D) cm in size and deep enough to allow the endoscope to be completely
immersed.
2. Adjust the adapter’s slit with the venting connector’s pin on the light guide
connector, and turn the adapter clockwise until it stops (see Figure 7.8).
3. Confirm that the pressure release lever is closed.
