Indicators
The following table shows the meaning of the indicators.
DIP Switch
The DIP switch is located on the base of the Connector Terminal.
Note Always turn OFF the Slave before changing DIP switch settings.
Communications connector
Used to connect CompoBus/S communications data (BD H, BD L), communications
power supply, and I/O power supply
One compatible connector is provided as standard.
Indicators
Indicate the status of the Slave and communications, and
output status of each contact. (Lit when the output is ON.)
DIP Switch
The DIP switch's pins have the following functions:
Pins 1 to 4: Node number setting
Pins 5 and 6: Reserved (Always OFF.)
Pin 7: Communications mode setting
Pin 8: Hold/Clear outputs for communications error

Indicator Status Meaning
PWR (green) ON The communications power supply is ON.
OFF The communications power supply is OFF.
COMM (yellow) ON Normal communications
OFF A communications error has occurred or the Unit is
in standby status.
ERR (red) ON A communications error has occurred.
OFF Normal communications or the Unit is in standby sta-
tus.
0 to 7 (8 outputs)
0 to 15 (16 outputs)
ON The corresponding output is ON.
OFF The corresponding output is OFF or the Unit is in
standby status.
