5-2-4 Connecting Expansion I/O Units and Expansion Units
The following restrictions apply to the CP-series Expansion Units and Expansion I/O Units that can be
connected to CP1E CPU Units.
z Maximum Number of Connectable Units
With an E30/40/60(S), N30/40/60(S) or NA20 CPU Unit, a total of up to three Expansion I/O Units
and Expansion Units can be connected to one CPU Unit. It is not possible to connect Expansion I/O
Units and Expansion Units to E10/14/20(S) or N14/20 CPU Units.
