8-1 Analog Input Units
Each CP1W-AD041 Analog Input Unit provides four analog inputs.
• The analog input signal ranges are 0 to 5 V, 1 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V, -10 to +10 V, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to
20 mA. The resolution is 1/6,000. The open-circuit detection function is activated in the ranges of 1 to
5 V and 4 to 20 mA.
• The Analog Input Unit uses four input words and two output words.

Connected to analog output devices.
• Input Terminal Arrangement
Note When using current inputs, voltage input terminals must be short-circuited with current input terminals.
(2)Expansion I/O Connecting Cable
Connected to the CPU Unit or Expansion Unit expansion connector. The cable is attached to the
Analog Input Unit and cannot be removed.
