Details of Services Section 7-3
Number of Elements The number of elements is expressed in 2-byte hexadecimal. There are rela-
tively few variables in the S8M and the setting range for the number of ele-
ments is 0 to 13 so that all of the monitored values can be accessed together.
List of Services
Note No commands (services) will be accepted and no responses will be returned
when a memory error (RAM error) has occurred.

Read Variable Area This service reads data from a variable area.
