V3:VIDEO3, V4:VIDEO4, V5:VIDEO5 (not used with the TX-
SR701/701E/601/601E), TAP:TAPE, TUN:FMIAM, PH:PHONO
(not used with the TX-SR601/601E).
Numeric key/Listening mode, SP A, SP B, CINE
FLTR, DISPLAY, DIMMER buttons

PURE A:
TX-SR60U601 E: Not used with the TX-SR60!/601E.
TX-SR701/70IE: Press to seIect the Pm-e Audio mode. [46, 48]
DIRECT, STERE(), SURR, ALL ST, DSP (TX-SR601/60IE),
DSP </l_ (TX-SR701/701E), THX (TX-SR701/70IE): You can
select a listening mode. [48-51 ]
Note:
During playback of a multichalmel source, press the DIRECT
bullon to turn off the tone control and the SURR button to turn on
the tone control.
SPA, SP B: Not used with the TX-SR601/601E.
CINE FLTR (TX-SR601/601E): Depending on the listening
mode, you can turn the CinemaFILTER function on or off. [51 ]
Re-EQ (TX-SR701/701E): Depending on the listening mode, you
can turn the Re-EQ function on or off. 149]
DISPLAY: Fk)r changing the display in the front display. [45]
DIMMER: Adjusts the display brightness.
There are three settings available: normal, dark, and very dark.
LIGHT button (RC-533M only)
Press to turn on and off the lights in the buttons of the remote
controller.

Press to display the Setup Menu on the TV screen and in the
display. Press again to exit the menu.
1_ AIVI<III_, ENTER button [31]
When in the Setup Menu, press the upper and lower arrow buttons
to select an ilem, press the right and left arrow bullons to select
parameler values or modes, and press the ENTER button to advance
to the next item.
VOL _/v button [41]
Press to adjust the volume.
TEST/MENU button
This bullon is used to set the speaker output levels. Use this bullon
in conjunction with the LEVEL A/V and CH SEL buttons to
calibrate the speakers levels without entering the Setup Menu. [43]
When the DVD mode is selected, press to display the DVD menu
(MENU). [641

When the DVD mode is selecled, press to find the specific section
