I Controlling an Onkyo CD player
'Ihe 1"41 conneclor of the Onkyo compact disc player must be
connected m the TX-SR701/701 E/601/601E (see page 24).
1. Press the CD MODE button.
The CD MODE button lights.
2. Press the desired operation button.
The buttons shaded in the figure to the left are the operation
buttons that can be used to control an Onkyo compact disc
player.
Operation buttons:
ON: Turns on and off the compact disc player (same as STANDBY
button on the remole controller)
DISC +: Selects a disc in the CD changer
C_: Track down
D_:0:Track up
[7>: Play
D: Stop
<2_: Skip backwaM
C;:¢:>:Skip forward
@: Pause
_: Opens/closes the disc tray
O, I to 9, +10: Numeric keys
RANDOM: Random playback
