'Ihe RC-533M/515M remote controller is a useful tool thai can not
only operate the TX-SR701/701E/601/601E, but also all the other
components of your home theater as well. 'Ib operate any
component, first press the Mode button on the remote controller thai
corresponds to the component that you wish to control. 'Ihen simply
press the desired operation button and the component will operate
accoMingly. For example, if you wish to select the CD input source
a/the TX-SR7OI/701E/601/6OIE with the remote controller, first
press the RCVR MODE button to select the TX-SR701/701E/601/
601E and then press the CD (INPUT SELECTOR) button.

'Ihe RI connector of the Onkyo cassette tape deck must be
connected to the TX-SR701/701 E/601/601E (see page 24).
1. Press the RCVR MODE button.
The RCVR MODE bullon lights.
2. Press the desired operation button.
The buttons shaded in the figure to the lefl are the operation
buttons thai can be used to control an Onkyo cassette tape deck.
Operation buttons:
[2>: Play
D: Stop
<2_: Rewind
U>: Fast forward
C:_: Skips to beginning of next track during playback
g2:_: Skips to beginning of current track during playback
REC 0: Record/Pause
@: Reverse playback
