4.9 Electrical connection
x Observe all safety and warning information (see the
“Safety” chapter).
x Observe all national and regional laws and
regulations as well as the supplementary
regulations of the local utility companies.
x The power connection may only be established by
certified specialists. The specialist also assumes
responsibility for the proper installation and
commissioning.
x Connections via plug-in contacts (Schuko plugs)
are not permitted.
Position of the terminal box in the appliance:
x Switch off the main switch/automatic circuit breaker
before connecting the cooktop.
x Secure the main switch/automatic circuit breaker
against being switched back on without permission.
x Make sure the power to the appliance is
disconnected.
x The hob has been fitted with a temperature-resistant
connection cable in the factory.
x If the mains cable is damaged, it will need to be
replaced with a new one. In order to avoid any risks,
this must be carried out by certified specialist.
