1.14 Individual protection gear
For certain work individual protection gear as protective equipment. This includes:
Safety helmet,
Protective goggles or face guard,
Protective gloves,
Safety shoes with steel toe caps,
Ear protection.
Before starting work, make sure that the prescribed individual protection gear is available in the
workplace.
CAUTION!
Dirty or contaminated personnel protective equipment can cause diseases.
Clean your individual protection gear
after each use,
regularly, at least once a week.
Personal protective equipment for special works
Protect your face and eyes: wear a safety helmet with facial protection when performing works
where your face and eyes are exposed to hazards.
Use protective gloves when handling pieces with sharp edges.
Use safety shoes when you assemble, disassemble or transport heavy components.
Position switch
V-belt cover
When the V-belt cover is opened, the drill must switch off automatically.
The drilling machine may not start if the V-belt cover is open.
