Minimum clearance for service
access
Clearance, front of storage server: 123.2 cm (48.5 inches)
Clearance, rear of storage server: 91.4 cm (36 inches)
The minimum ceiling height for the cabinet is 230 cm (90 inches), measured from the true floor
or raised floor, whichever is higher. An additional 91.4 cm (36 inches) is for top clearance. The
space above the cabinet and its surroundings must not restrict the movement of cool air between
the air conditioner and the cabinet, or the movement of hot air coming out of the top of the
cabinet.
Maintenance Space Requirements
The maintenance area for the rackmounted Oracle Exadata Storage Server X5-2 Extreme
Flash must have the required access space. The following table lists the maintenance access
requirements for the storage server when it is installed in a rack.
