6.1.2. Locking with a lock
Cubicles of the cgmcosmos system with B/BM driving
mechanisms are designed to optionally incorporate lock
assemblies in the earthing switch and switch-disconnector
actuating shafts, both in the open and closed positions.
Examples of locking with interlocks (optional):
• Example 1: Earthing interlocked in open position. This
avoids setting the switch to the "earthing" position until
the key for the low voltage disconnector lock has been
recovered.
• Example 2: Earthing interlocked in closed position
(ALWAYS INTERLOCK for work without voltage). It
prevents anyone from accidentally opening the earthing
switch by removing the earth from the cable.
Sequence to remove the interlock lock
1. Move the slide (yellow for the earthing switch actuating
shaft or grey for the switch-disconnector actuating
shaft) until it completely covers access to the lever in the
actuating shaft. Until the position indicator is situated
on the instructed position the interlock is disabled.
2. Insert the interlock key and turn it in the direction
indicated on the mimic diagram of the cubicle until it
reaches the stop piece.
It is now that the position indicator is locked until the
sequence to remove the interlock is carried out
3. Remove the key from the corresponding interlock.
