Manipulate the release lever on the tilt-adjuster (Fig. 2, item B) to adjust the angle of the seating
unit. The release lever is secured with a tripod spring button, which you must press in first. Hold
the seating unit with one hand to prevent it from uncontrolled tipping.
Bring the backrest in upright position and secure in the desired inclination position by tightening
the clamping lever (Fig. 3). When pulled away from the screw, the clamping lever can be rotated
freely, thus enabling you to turn it to a more convenient operating position.
Information!
The seating unit is equipped with an additional lock of the backrest adjustment
mechanism („positive lock“). This lock serves to additionally secure the backrest in
upright position when using the Kimba Spring as a seat in motor vehicles.

Slide the back insert into the back base and clamp it in the desired height by tightening the set
screws (Fig. 4).
