MAINTENANCE
REPLACE PROPELLER
!
WARNING
Do not use any body parts to hold
the propeller when loosening or
tightening the propeller nut.
1. Straighten the cotter pin (2)
and pull it out using a pair of
pliers.
2. Remove the propeller nut (1).
3. Remove the propeller and
propeller washer.
4. Apply marine grease
according to table
Recommended fluids and
grease to the propeller sha.
5. Install the propeller washer
and propeller on the propeller
sha.
NOTE! Be sure to install the
propeller washer before installing
the propeller, otherwise the lower
case and propeller boss could be
damaged.
!
CAUTION
Be sure to use a new cotter pin
and bend the ends over securely.
Otherwise the propeller could
come off during operation and be
lost.
NOTE! We recommend a using
a new hub kit when mounting a
propeller. Contact your OXE Diesel
dealer or propeller manufacturer!
