1. Place the control head lever in neutral
position.
2. Press the power trim and tilt switch UP
until the outboard has tilted up completely.
Procedure for tilting down
1. With the control head lever in neutral
position, press the power trim and tilt
switch DN to lower the outboard to the
desired position.

Trim and tilt switch on cowling
The power trim and tilt switch is located on the
starboard side of the bottom engine cowling.
Pressing the switch up trims the outboard up to
a certain position and then tilts it up. Pressing
the button down tilts the outboard down and
trims it down. When the switch is released
the outboard will stop and stay in its current
position.

WARNING
Only use the power trim and tilt switch
located on the engine cowling when the boat
is at complete stop with the engine shut off.
Attempting to use the switch while the
boat is moving increase the risk of falling
overboard, distracting operator or collision
with other boats or obstacles.
