WarrantyLimitations
Yoursoleandexclusiveremedy
againstPACCARandtheselling
dealerarisingfromyourpurchaseand
useofthisengineislimitedtothe
repairorreplacementof“warrantable
failures”atauthorizedUnitedStates
andCanadianPACCARengine
dealers,oranauthorizedPACCAR
enginefacilitywhereapplicable,
subjecttoPACCAR'stime,mileage,
andhourlimitationsoftheengine
emissionwarranty.Themaximum
time,mileageandhourlimitationsof
theengineemissionwarrantybegin
runningonthedateofdeliveryto
therstpurchaser.Theaccrued
time,mileage,orhoursiscalculated
whentheengineisbroughtintoan
authorizeddealerforcorrectionof
warrantablefailures.
PACCARisnotresponsiblefor
failuresordamageresultingfrom
whatPACCARdeterminestobe
abuseorneglect,including,butnot
limitedto:damageduetoaccident;
operationwithoutadequatecoolantsor
lubricants;overfueling;overspeeding;
lackofmaintenanceofcooling,
lubricatingorintakesystems;improper
storage,starting,warm-up,run-inor
shutdownpractices;unauthorized
modicationstotheengine.PACCAR
isalsonotresponsibleforfailures
causedbyincorrectoil,fuelordiesel
exhaustuidorbywater,dirtorother
contaminantsinthefuel,oilordiesel
exhaustuid.Failureofreplacement
partsusedinrepairsduetotheabove
non-warrantableconditionsisnot
warrantable.
PACCARisnotresponsibleforfailures
resultingfromimproperrepairorthe
useofpartswhicharenotgenuine
approvedparts.
PACCARisnotresponsibleforthe
materialandlaborcostsofemission
controlpartsandassembliesreplaced
during“ScheduledMaintenance”of
theengineasspeciedinPACCAR
“Operator’sManuals”.
