PACCARResponsibilities
Thewarrantycoveragebeginswhen
theengineisdeliveredtotherst
purchaser.Repairsandservicewillbe
performedbyanyauthorizedPACCAR
engine,dealeroranauthorized
CumminsDistributorusingnewor
genuineapprovedrebuiltpartsand
assemblies.PACCARwillrepair
anyoftheemissioncontrolparts
foundbyPACCARtobedefective
withoutchargeforpartsorlabor
(includingdiagnosiswhichresultsin
determinationthattherehasbeena
failureofawarrantedemissioncontrol
part).
EmergencyRepairs
Inthecaseofanemergencywhere
anauthorizedPACCARenginedealer
oranauthorizedCumminsDistributor
isnotavailable,repairsmaybe
performedbyanyavailablerepair
locationorbyanyindividualusingany
replacementparts.Apartnotbeing
availablewithin30daysorarepair
notbeingcompletewithin30days
constitutesanemergency.PACCAR
willreimbursetheownerforexpenses
(includingdiagnosis),nottoexceed
themanufacturer'ssuggestedretail
priceforallwarrantedpartsreplaced
andlaborchargesbasedonthe
manufacturer'srecommendedtime
allowanceforthewarrantyrepairand
thegeographicallyappropriatehourly
laborrate.
Replacedpartsandpaidinvoices
mustbepresentedatanauthorized
PACCARenginedealerorauthorized
CumminsDistributorasacondition
ofreimbursementforemergency
repairsnotperformedbyanauthorized
PACCARenginedealeroran
authorizedCumminsDistributor.
