servicedtocorrecttheproblembutthe
situationshouldnotbeconsideredan
emergency.
EngineisOverheating
CAUTION
Thecoolingsystemmayover-
heatiftheenginecoolantisatthe
minimumlevel.Asuddenlossof
coolant,causedbyasplithose
orbrokenhoseclampcouldalso
leadtoanoverheatcondition.Al-
waysinspecttoensurehosesand
clampsarenotcracked,worn,or
loose.Failuretocomplymayresult
inequipmentorpropertydamage.
NOTE
Thesystemmayalsotemporarily
overheatduringsevereoperating
conditionssuchas:
•Climbingahillonahotday.
•Stoppingafterhigh-speed/
high-loaddriving.
•Debrisblockingairow
throughthecoolingmodule
(radiator).
Iftheenginecoolanttemperature
warninglampcomesonandthe
audiblealarmsoundsshowingan
overheatcondition,orifyouhaveany
otherreasontosuspecttheengine
maybeoverheating,DONOTTURN
OFFTHEENGINEunlessalowwater
warningdeviceindicatesalossof
coolant.Followthesesteps:
•Reduceenginespeed,or
stop.Whenstopped,placethe
