warranteddirectlytotherstpurchaser
byPACCAR.
1.UnitedStatesincludesAmerican
Samoa,theCommonwealthof
NorthernMarianaIslands,Guam,
PuertoRico,andtheU.S.Virgin
Islands.
BaseEngineWarranty
Thiswarrantycoversanyfailuresofthe
enginewhichresult,undernormaluse
andservice,fromadefectinmaterial
orfactoryworkmanship(warrantable
failure).Thiscoveragebeginsonthe
dateofdeliveryandendstwoyearsor
250,000miles(400,000kilometers)or
6,250hours,whicheveroccursrst,
afterthedateofdeliveryoftheengine
totherstpurchaserorrstlessee.

EmissionWarrantyonpage6-16.
PACCARResponsibilities
PACCARwillpayforallpartsandlabor
neededtorepairthedamagetothe
engineresultingfromawarrantable
failure.
PACCARwillpayforthelubricating
oil,antifreeze,lterelements,belts,
hoses,andothermaintenanceitems
thatarenotreusableduetothe
warrantablefailure.PACCARwillpay
forreasonablelaborcostsforengine
removalandreinstallationwhen
necessarytorepairawarrantable
failure.
PACCARwillpayduringthebase
enginewarrantyperiodoftwoyearsor
250,000miles(400,000kilometers)or
6,250hours,whicheveroccursrst.
Reasonablecostsfortowingavehicle
disabledbyawarrantablefailureto
thenearestauthorizedrepairstation.
Inlieuofthetowingexpenseand
initssolediscretion,PACCARmay
